Have a strawberry tea for the Royal British Legion

DROITWICH Forum for Older People is organising a fundraising event for the town’s British Legion to mark the centenary of the start of World War One.

The group is holding a strawberry tea at the Teacups Cafe in Gurney’s Lane on Monday, August 4 from 2-4pm where people will be able to enjoy tea for £3.50.

There will also be a sale table and a raffle, with entertainment from forties crooner Kevin Mac,

Anyone is welcome to attend the event, and all money raised will go towards Droitwich Royal British Legion for its work supporting veterans and their families.
