Specsavers stars take on charity challenges

THREE members of staff at a Droitwich opticians have competed in separate events to raise money for a number of charities.

Rebecca Head, Emma Jelfs and Becky Muir from Specsavers on Droitwich High Street, have competed in five and 10k Race for Life events for Cancer Research UK, and an eight-mile Moonlight Memory Walk in support of St Mary’s Hospice.

Ms Head who works as an optical assistant at the store, said: “We have all really enjoyed taking part in the events and have managed to raise lots of money for charity. We’d just like to thank everyone who has supported us by making a donation to our chosen charities. In total we have raised £450.”
