CHILDREN in Droitwich under 13 are being invited to design banners that will be displayed throughout the district for the Tour of Britain.
The tour is the UK’s biggest professional cycle race, and it will be passing through the Wychavon district on September 10 with cyclists free to watch as they race through Broadway, Evesham and Pershore.
Each of the towns will feature a 3x1 metre banner, all sporting the winning design from a district-wide competition. The design will also appear of flags for the spectators to wave.
