CHILDREN at Chawson First School in Droitwich held a tea party at the end of term to celebrate how well they’d done, and all the parents were invited to join in.

The tea party was organised to celebrate the children making better than the average progress in reading, writing and mathematics, and pupils got to share their work with their parents, sing songs and enjoy some squash and biscuits, before heading home with a balloon.

Headteacher Helen Wallace, said: “I was so excited to see so many parents and family members come to share our success. The children were all so proud and so was I.”
