A 64-YEAR-old Droitwich man changed his plea at the start of a trial to guilty of downloading child porn.
Leonard O'Sullivan of Vines Lane, Droitwich, admitted five charges of downloading a total of 179 images.
Graham Russell, prosecuting at Worcester Crown Court, said the defendant had commissioned his own expert report which showed some were duplicates. The prosecution agreed and had accepted guilty pleas to a reduced number of images instead of continuing with the trial.
O'Sullivan pleaded guilty to having 85 images at level one, the least serious, 29 at level two, 34 at level three, 24 at level four and seven at the most serious, level five.
The court heard he was of previous good character and the case was adjourned until August 8 for a pre-sentence report.
