A STUDENT at Droitwich Spa High School has had her hair shaved completely off to raise money for Macmillan.
Year nine pupil Amber Horne managed to raise an impressive £1,140 when she went from having a full head of long hair, to being completely bald.
The teenager chose the charity as something close to her heart, having lost two aunties and a sister to cancer.
Her mum Jo Hazeldine, said: “I am amazingly proud of Amber. She has dealt with her heartache in a way most adults would struggle to.”
Amber also managed to save her long hair to make extra use of it by donating it to the Little Princess Trust, a charity which makes wigs for children who lose their hair during cancer treatment.
