PEOPLE looking for help getting back into the world of work can take advantage of a new Job Club being run at Droitwich Library.

The club is running on Fridays from 9:30am to 12:30pm and offers assistance for people writing and emailing CV's and applications to employers, as well as giving practical job advice and tips on interview technique, and helping out with information on further learning and training, and matching people up with suitable jobs.

The club tries to be friendly, empathetic, and positive toward jobseekers and create a relaxed atmosphere with free use of the library’s computers, and Job Club laptops on offer as well as specialist one to one advice.

The club, which is run through Worcestershire County Council under its Matrix Accreditation, coincides with the Friday market in Droitwich town centre so people can pop into town and do their shopping while picking up advice and information.
