Poets Catherine Crosswell, Jenny Hope, Ruth Stacey and Sarah James will be performing extracts from an anthology they all feature in, while guest poet Antony Owen will be reading from his collection ‘The Year I Loved England’.

There will also be an opportunity for keen budding poets and acoustic musicians and singers to perform their own interpretations of ‘wild and foxy’ in an open mic section of the evening.

The event is being organised by Droitwich Arts Network (DAN) and is taking place from 7-9.30pm on Saturday, June 28 at Park’s Cafe in Droitwich.

Sarah Leavesley from DAN, said: “It is always great to see the town come to life during the summer festival and fantastic to have poetry included in its celebration of the arts.

“This will be the third DAN live lit event at Park’s Café. I am always amazed by the friendly, celebratory feel, how well it is supported and how many people seem to enjoy it.”

Park's Café owner Paul Richardson, added: "Last year this was our most popular evening and we are looking forward to this year's event.”
