AS ENGLAND prepare to face Italy tomorrow evening the organisation responsible for sexual health services in Worcestershire has unveiled the first of its posters promoting safe sex during the World Cup.
With almost half a million people in England alone diagnosed with a sexually transmitted infection (STI) in 2013, and the highest rates reported among the under-25s, Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust is running a campaign during the tournament encouraging people to take precautions in the bedroom.
The first poster in a series of three, which features the light-hearted yet serious slogan ‘Planning to score? If you’re a player, wear a condom’ was unveiled today.
