CHILDREN at Chawson First School in Droitwich got the chance to practice their footballing skills ahead of the World Cup with a visit from the Kidderminster Harriers.
The visit was organised through the Harriers’ Football in the Community programme which saw more than 300 pupils from across the year groups taking time out to have a go at a range of footballing skills.
The children from years one to four, also took part in a quiz, testing them on their knowledge for when the World Cup begins.
One pupil, Morgan Hughes, said: “I was impressed with the different types of football equipment on offer as it allowed me to improve my dribbling skills.
“I also enjoyed the World Cup activities. I’m very excited for the start of the World Cup.”
