WALKERS from across Droitwich took to the Malvern Hills recently to raise money for St Richard’s hospice as part of its 30th anniversary.

350 walkers took part in the fundraiser from across Worcestershire, walking 11, five or two mile routes.

Organiser Lizzie Brazier from St Richard’s said, “It was a superb day, the hottest we can remember. Everyone was in such great spirits with the sun shining and the hills looking spectacular.

“We want to say a big thank you to all the walkers, volunteers and sponsor RCA Regeneration for helping to make it such a memorable 30th anniversary walk.”

The walk is hoping to raise approximately £20,000 for the hospice, which cares for patients with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses and supports their families.
