DROITWICH artists have joined forces to create this year's community mural.
Annually members of the Droitwich Arts Network organise a community mural to raise money for St Richard's Hospice.
This year the mural has been created by students from Droitwich Spa High School and on Saturday, (April 12), a community painting session took place.
The students chose a theme of fairytale characters in a heritage, local setting and everyone, from toddlers to pensioners, have helped out create the 64 feet mural.
Peter Hawkins, chairman of Droitwich Arts Network, said: "A lot of hard work has gone into creating this mural.
"The students began designing it in January.
"It is going on display in a place people will be able to see it from Vines Park."
The finished mural is to be put up on public display at Netherwich basin on Saturday, May 3, as part of the St Richard’s Festival in the town.
