A FORMER performing arts student from Wychbold is forging a promising career as an award-winning actor in Los Angeles.
Robert Beddall, who trained at Kidderminster College, moved to the United States in 2006, when he was accepted into the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in LA, graduating with the Charles Jellinger Award in Acting.
He has just completed the film ‘Night Vet’ with Emmy award winner and Oscar nominated actor James Cromwell, as well as working with a number of award-winning and established production companies.
Talking about his time spent studying in Worcestershire, he said: “It was such a great course, with amazing teachers. I had a wonderful two years there and it was the place where I truly discovered what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. The performing arts course broke me out of my shell, I discovered the performer inside myself and I will never forget the people I met and the knowledge I gained.”
