THE final of the middle schools' Poetry Slam, organised by former poet laureate Giovanni Esposito and supported by Worcestershire County Council's arts team, is taking place this April.
Up to 17 middle schools will be competing against each other for the best poem and slam performance at Redditch's Palace Theatre on April 3.
This is the opening event of this year's Voices and Visions annual showcase of young local artistic talent from across the county.
