CUSTOMERS at Webbs Garden Centre in Wychbold are being encouraged to give their homes a bit of a spring clean ,and bring any unwanted items in to donate to the Primrose hospice as part of ‘Donate, Don’t Dump Day’.

The day, which is being held on Thursday, March 20, is an annual event to raise money for the hospice through items it can sell in its charity shops.

Customers are being asked to come along to the store between 10am and 5pm with at least one good quality item they no longer want or need, which they’re willing to donate. The items will then be taken in by the collection area in Webs car park, and delivered to the Primrose Hospice for sorting and selling in their shops.

Company chairman Ed Webb, said: “The aim of 'Donate, Don't Dump Day' is to improve the quality and quantity of donations to charity shops and for giving in this way to be an easy and frequent event. This helps charities such as Primrose to raise the much needed funds to carry out their invaluable work in the community.”
