THOSE wanting to trace their family history back beyond their known living relatives can attend a free event to find out how.
The Family History Open House sessions being held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in Canada Way, Worcester, will give people the hands-on experience to find out who their ancestors were, where they lived and what they did.
There will be tutorials using computers, microfilm and mirco-fiche, and access to the most popular family websites likes Ancestry, Find My Past and Family Search.
The sessions run on Tuesday, March 4, from 11am to 3pm, Wednesday, March 5, 11am to 3pm, Thursday, March 6, from 11am to 9pm, Friday, March 7, from 11am to 9pm, and Saturday, March 8, from 11am to 3pm.
All are free of charge and do not need to be booked in advance.
