THE Rotary Club of North Worcestershire has made a generous donation to an organisation supporting children and adults with learning difficulties.

The club, which was set up by the rotary clubs of Bromsgrove and Droitwich Spa and celebrated its 30th anniversary last year, has donated £200 to Special Olympics Worcestershire.

The organisation provides year round sports training and competitions for a variety of Olympic type sports, developing athletes physical, social and psycological qualities.

Dave Foster, president elect, donated the £200 from the organisation's charity fund when he attended Special Olympics Worcestershire's annual awards evening, helping to present certificates to youngsters.
