A FREE event designed to help businesses get into export is being hosted by Wychavon District Council.
The day, which will take place at the Civic Centre, Pershore, on February 4, will look to inspire local businesses to consider international trade as an integral part of their business planning and future success.
Jane Dobson, economic development officer at Wychavon, said: “Research shows that companies are 11 per cent more likely to survive if they do business overseas. We hope by hosting this event locally we can encourage out established businesses that don’t supply overseas to strongly consider it as part of their business planning. This we hope will strengthen the local economy.”
This event, organised by UK Trade and Investment in partnership with West Midlands Chambers of Commerce, follows the successful Making it in Export event held in Pershore last October.
To book a place at the event, businesses can register online at uktigrowth.eventbrite.com, call 0121 607 1775 or e-mail l.blaj@uktiwm.co.uk
