TWO people have been arrested in connection with two separate assualts which left victims with facial injuries.

The first man was bitten on the face in an unprovoked attack at a nightclub in Worcester, while the second man had his ear torn in a fight with someone he reportedly knew at a Bromyard pub.

At around 2am on October 26 at Velvet nightclub, off Angel Place, the 22-year-old victim was grabbed by the face and bitten on the cheek causing significant injury which needed on-going treatment.

Meanwhile, two men, the victim and the offender, were involved in an incident outside the Rose and Lion pub, in New Road, Bromyard, at about 4.30pm on November 1.

The first alledged attacker was arrested on suspicion of assault, while the second was arrested on suspicion of grevious bodily harm without intent.

Both were bailed by police pending further inquiries.
