FREE sessions will be held to help parents and carers in Droitwich with online school admissions.

Parents and carers are invited to attend Westlands First School, Farmers Way in Droitwich on the last day for school admissions applications, Wednesday, January 15, between 9am and 1pm.

A qualified teacher will be on hand to lead people through the admissions process and to assist anyone who isn't able to get online at home.

The sessions are being run by Worcestershire County Council's Comput@bus.

The Comput@bus has eight desktop computers, is equipped with heating and air-conditioning and also has disabled access via a lift.

If you are a resident in Worcestershire, all school places have to be applied for through Worcestershire County Council and each year parents get caught out by not applying for their children's place before the closing date and potentially miss out on their preferred school.

Parents and carers need to fill in the online application form by Wednesday, January 15, which is available at worcestershire.gov.uk/schooladmissions.

Anybody who is unable to attend this session, can access a computer for free at their local library.
