BUSINESS leaders are being invited to attend an annual meeting about issues in the district.
The theme of the event this year is business growth with a range of speakers from Wychavon District Council and partners talking about growth funding, business coaching and infrastructure improvements and the much awaited promotion of Grow in Wychavon – the book.
Phil Merrick, head of community services at Wychavon District Council, said: “This meeting has traditionally been a consultation on business rates, but over the years we've made it a forum for discussion and information sharing for businesses in the area and we’re looking forward to seeing as many businesses as possible this year.”
The meeting is on Tuesday, January 21 from 7.30am to 9.30am and will provide a useful networking opportunity over breakfast with other businesses and business support agencies such as the Federation of Small Businesses and the Chamber of Commerce.
For catering purposes, businesses are asked to inform Wychavon of attendance by calling Jane Dobson on 01386 565278 or emailing jane.dobson@wychavon.gov.uk by January 10.
