Still time to enter Droitwich Spa's business awards
1:10pm Wednesday 9th October 2013 in News
THERE is still time for town-based companies to enter the Spa Enterprise Business Awards (SEBA).
The contest, which aims to highlight Droitwich firms and entrepreneurs, closes to entries on October 31.
Organisers have been delighted with the support given to the competition by entrants and sponsors who will be coming together on the prestigious awards night on November 25 at St Andrews Town Hotel when trophies, along with prizes worth over £8,000, will be presented to the talented business people of Droitwich.
The awards night is set to mark the end to the inaugural year of the competition in spectacular fashion with local company Production Support Services providing full event production, including lighting, video, set and staging worth over £3,000.
Chris Sparkes, managing director of Production Support Services (PSS), said: “PSS regularly works in the local community at many events including the recent Salt Day Festival, and we are looking forward to supporting the SEBA stars awards to create a memorable night celebrating local business and entrepreneurship”.
The guest of honour at the awards night will be Neil Westwood whose company, Magic Whiteboard, won £100,000 investment and the backing of Deborah Meaden and Theo Paphitis on the BBC’s Dragon’s Den programme.
There is still time for companies to enter the competition. They are invited to simply send an email of between 500 to 1000 words to email@example.com explaining why they should win the category they have entered and submit their entry fee by the deadline. The competition categories are new business, innovation and entrepreneurship.
