5:30pm Tuesday 8th October 2013 in News
A CATTERY in Worcestershire is holding a cat re-homing day to try and encourage more people to take home a new pet.
The Teme Acre Cattery, which is run by RSPCA Worcester and Mid-Worcestershire branch, is becoming over-run with rescue animals.
A spokesman for the branch, said: “We have a real problem and have no space to take in anymore cats, until we have re-homed some of the ones in our care.”
The centre is holding its re-homing day on Sunday, October 20 from noon to 3pm, and members of the public are invited to come along and meet some of the cats in need of a new home.
Anyone taking on a cat, will have to pay an adoption fee of £50, and all of the cats have been spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, identity-microchipped, wormed and deflead.
For more information on the cats housed at the home, or on the re-homing day, visit rspca-worcester.co.uk or call 01905 841354 or 01905 20822.
