Community groups urged to use free grant service
9:20am Saturday 24th August 2013 in News
VOLUNTARY and community organisations are being encouraged to make use of a free grant finder service.
The Worcestershire Partnership, which includes Worcestershire County Council, has renewed a licence to run Worcestershire 4 Funding, which is a funding information website that offers charities, voluntary groups and community organisations access to a comprehensive database of funding opportunities including government, lottery, EU and non-government schemes.
Voluntary and community organisations can find out if they are eligible for funding by using the grant finder facility by visiting worcestershirepartnership.org.uk/grantfinder.
As well as funding opportunities, the website also contains useful information about how to put successful bids together. Users are given free access to an easy to navigate online tool so they can search for themselves through all the funding opportunities available to them.
People can find out more information by contacting Alan Smith on 01905 822836 or visiting the website.
