A YOUNG musician is holding his first musical showcase at St Andrews Town Hotel in Droitwich on Friday, July 5 at 8pm.

The free event will include a raffle to raise funds for The Prince’s Trust.

After several years spent struggling to find work, Jimi Loveridge, age 31, from

St John’s in Worcester, decided to create a business out of his musical passion and approached youth charity The Prince’s Trust.

He took part on The Trust’s Enterprise programme, which helps unemployed 18 to 30 year olds set up in business or find a job. Following the programme he was given a local business mentor, Richard Morris, and a low-interest loan.
Jimi is now embarking on making his name providing music for weddings, parties, restaurants and public houses.

There is no charge to attend the Jimi Loveridge musical showcase at the newly refurbished St Andrews Town Hotel but audience members may wish to book a two course meal  for £14 at 6pm before listening to the music.

Mr Morris said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to come and support Jimi, see the fabulous new St Andrews Town Hotel, and support The Prince’s Trust.’
