Droitwich Travelodge manager Mat Field prepares for his charity challenge.
WORKERS from a Droitwich hotel are set to drive to Scotland to raise funds for a cancer charity.
Mat Field, manager at Droitwich Travelodge, near Rashwood, and colleague Andrew Bishop will attempt to make their way from the UK’s most southern Travelodge in Hayle to the most northern in Inverness on Wednesday, March 27.
They will attempt to stop off at as many other Travelodge facilities as possible during a 24 hour period.
The pair will take on the driving challenge in aid of the company’s chosen charity of the year, Macmillan Cancer Support.
The work of the charity has a special place in Mat’s heart after his mum survived cancer.
