Reading pupils support mayor's charities

BOOK-loving pupils at a Droitwich school have raised funds for the mayor’s chosen charities.

Youngsters at Westacre Middle School, Ombersley Way, held a readathon on Friday, March 1 in aid of causes being supported by Mayor of Droitwich, Councillor Anne Taft.

The school raised £1,065 for Sight Concern Worcestershire and Friends of Droitwich Spa Lido.
