Swimmers to raise hospice cash

KEEN swimmers are getting ready to dive in to raise cash for St Richard’s Hospice during the charity’s swimathon event.

The Splash for Cash event takes place at New College, Whittington Road, Worcester, on Sunday, February 3 and is open to all ages and abilities.

Fundraiser Sarah Patrick said: “We’ve had a great response to the swimathon. Everyone is welcome to come along to the 25 metre pool to see how far they can swim in an allocated half hour slot. Participants can either get sponsored per length or just for taking part.”
