More chances to visit Hanbury Hall

There are even more chances to enjoy a visit to Hanbury Hall and Gardens this winter.

The National Trust property near Droitwich Spa will be opening for an extra day during the winter season.

Hanbury Hall, gardens, park, tea-room and shop will all be open Saturday - Monday from 11am - 4pm.

Visitors will be able to enjoy a guided tour of the upstairs of the house while vital conservation work takes place downstairs, take a bracing walk around the gardens, then warm up with winter treats in the tea-room and pick up some bargains in the shop.

Visitors can also take the opportunity to enjoy beautiful views and discover more about the restoration work in the park on one of the guided Welly Walks in the Park taking place on Sunday January 13, 20, 27 and February 3, 10, 17 and 24. The walks run from 11.30am until 1.15pm and start outside the forecourt gates.

Visitor services manager Alice Eddy said: “We’re excited to be opening even more this winter. Taking a walk around our beautiful gardens and park is a great way of getting some fresh air and gentle exercise. Why not come and stretch your legs and then treat yourself to a wholesome freshly prepared lunch or afternoon tea in our tearoom?”
