A MAN detectives want to trace in relation to a serious knife assault in Evesham has been added to West Mercia Police's Wanted page.
Police want to speak to Peter O'Shaughnessy about the assault, which took place at 11.25pm on Wednesday, December 19 at Chancers in Vine Street.
During the incident, after a member of staff was assaulted by a man armed with a knife.
He received a serious wound to his hand and forearm and was taken to hospital in a serious condition. He has since been discharged.
O'Shaughnessy is aged 31, lives in Blackacre Road, Halewood, Liverpool, and also goes by the name of Pierre.
Detective Sergeant Pete Sherwood said: "Our inquiries into the assault have continued over the Christmas period and we are doing all we can to find Peter O'Shaughnessy.
"Adding his details to our Wanted page indicates how serious we are treating the offence. We need to find and speak with Mr O'Shaughnessy.
"He is believed to be dangerous and we advise that, if anyone knows or encounters O'Shaughnessy, they should not under any circumstances approach or challenge him.
"If you are aware of his whereabouts, please contact West Mercia Police immediately on 999."
