Library to hold Space Day event

VISITOR numbers are again set to rocket when Droitwich Library hosts Space Day.

The Victoria Square building will hold the out-of-this-world event between 9.30am and 4.30pm on Saturday, January 12.

People can enjoy a host of talks from astronomers, space authors and rocket scientists as well as a number of activities during the free attraction.

Last year’s event proved very popular with around 1,600 people attending, many dressed as their favourite space-themed character.
