A DECISION on if the town should form a neighbourhood plan has been postponed.
Droitwich Town Council decided to defer a decision on the matter when it met on Monday.
A neighbourhood plan is a government-led scheme which sees residents having more of a say on future housing and business developments in their area. It would replace the current town plan and apparently have more legal standing.
The scheme had recently been backed by Droitwich Spa Business Forum, which called for the town to form a plan to aid future economic growth.
However, the issue will now be discussed when the council looks to update the current town plan.
