A TOWN store that has been selling second hand goods for 20 years is set to close.

Robert Purser, who runs Second Chance, based in St Andrew's Street, Droitwich, has closed the doors to the shop for the final time.

He will now be looking for a new job after failing to make ends meet.

He said: "I've had no choice but to close. It's mainly down to the current economic climate, the cost of rent and a few other factors. We've been struggling for a while.

"I am very sad to be leaving because I have enjoyed it a lot. It has been great meeting so many people and my wife and three children have grown up in the business.

"I would like to thank my family for all their support and also the regular customers who have visited over the years."
