Jazz evening raises hundreds of pounds for Lido

A JAZZ event held by the Friends of Droitwich Spa Lido (FODSL) raised more than £700 to support the facility.
The group organised the music evening at the Sacred Heart Parish Hall, off Worcester Road, on October 19.
Sheila Preston, from the group, said: “It was a super evening and I would like to thank everyone who attended especially our Mayor, Councillor Anne Taft, and those who supplied raffle prizes.”
Recently, FODSL donated £3,000 to Wychavon Leisure, the group that runs the Lido, to help buy a defibrillator for the site.
