A SPA school has been recognised for improving standards and skills in numeracy and literacy.
St Peter's First School, in Church Lane, has been awarded a Quality Mark in recognition of the efforts made by its teachers and pupils.
Proud headteacher Tracey O'Keefe-Pullen has now put the plaque, awarded to the school by The Basic Skills Agency, on display. All pupils and staff were recognised for their contribution to achieving the award.
