STAKEOUT, an up-and-coming band from Redditch, are going from strength to strength.
The band, who all met at Studley High School, have played a number of high profile gigs including headlining the O2 academy 3 as well as recently signing to M.A.S Records.
Alex from the band said: “Since deciding to start playing, our love for music has grown and grown.
“We listen to as many types of different genres as possible as it helps make the music more diverse and appeal to a wider variety of people.”
Influenced by bands such as You Me At Six, Fall Out Boy and Boys Like Girls, the band’s sound is guitar driven hooky riffs and powerful vocal harmonies that give a pop/rock edge to the music.
Alex added: “Our number one aim for the future is to continue to develop our material and continue to create music which people will enjoy.
“We want to perform with as many great bands as we can and showcase our music to as many people as possible across the country.”
StakeOut’s next gig will be the Alcester Battle of the Bands final at The Moat House Pub on February 26, followed by Alcester Rugby Club on March 5 and The Firkin and Flapper in Birmingham on March 14.
The band are also playing the Tardebigge Pub in Redditch in April.
