NOW you really know Christmas is just around the corner when attention begins to turn towards the onset of the pantomime season.

As usual a whole variety of these traditional tales will be appearing at theatres in Worcestershire and neighbouring counties.

At Malvern’s Festival Theatre it’s going to be the magical story of Cinderella so it could be about time you thought of getting your ticket to the ball!

This year's much anticipated show tells the story of the beloved rags-to-riches tale of Cinders which will be transformed into a spectacular musical extravaganza for all the family to enjoy.

This sparkling production stars This Morning’s showbiz reporter Alison Hammond as the trusty Fairy Godmother alongside Gemma Naylor from Nick. Jr’s Go! Go! Go! show as Cinderella!

Baron Hardup will be played by Paul Hawkyard from CBeebies’ Old Jack’s Boat and comedy star Mark James plays Buttons.

Audiences can join Cinderella on her magical quest to win the heart of the dashing Prince Charming, with a little help along the way from her best friend Buttons and the enchanting Fairy Godmother.

Save your boos and hisses for the ghastly Ugly Sisters who are determined to dash Cinder’s dreams.

Will they all live happily ever after?...

The panto opens at the Festival on Thursday, December 14 and runs through until Sunday, January 7, 2018.

The pantomime is once again produced by UK Productions Ltd and features the sensational Shetland Ponies live on stage, plus a full supporting cast including children from the local dance school, Cecilia Hall Dance Centre all of which promises a real festive treat.
