THE Faaaaabulous Ceri Dupree is back on the road with his One Man, 21 woman show and will be coming to Redditch.

Presenting a glamorous evening of hysterical comedy, amazing vocal impersonations and jaw dropping, eye popping costumes, the show is at the Palace Theatre on May 24.

You could meet Adele, Cher, Joan Collins, Lady Ga Ga, Bjork, Shirley Bassey, Camilla and even The Queen.

Ceri brings them all lovingly to life with a touch of Las Vegas class rarely seen in the UK today.

Ceri Dupree is certainly more than a comic in a frock, his singing, dancing; acting, impersonation and stand-up comedy display a talent that blasts the notion of dressing up in drag clean off the stage.

A spokesman said: "His shows are elegant, professional and extremely funny, as a reviewer once said 'The frocks are fabulous, the wigs wonderful, the voice versatility itself, Ceri Dupree illuminates people rather than merely impersonating them, walking a fine line between character and caricature, never being anything less than hugely funny with sharp wit, human perception and high energy'.

"Over the years he has impersonated almost every major female star, from Marilyn Monroe to Madonna, Shirley Bassey to Barbara Cartland, Tina Turner to the UK Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

"He has also sent up Cruella De Ville, Snow White, and the Wicked Queen."

He added: "Variety is certainly not dead - we also have Her Majesty The Queen of England, Jordan and his newest addition, Amy Winehouse."

Early booking for the show, suitable for those aged over 18, is strongly advised.

Tickets are available now in person or at the box office on 01527 65203 priced at £18.50 (inclusive of booking fee £1 per seat up to a maximum £4)
