CHRISTMAS officially comes to Redditch next weekend when X Factor finalists Reggie ‘N’ Bollie turn on this year’s Christmas lights.

The Ghanaian music duo consisting of Reggie Zippy and Bollie Babeface will make a special appearance on a stage by St Stephen's Church on Church Green from 4pm on Saturday, November 26 before visiting Worcester Square in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre at 4.30pm for an exclusive meet and greet with fans.

Led by Redditch Town Centre Partnership, Kingfisher Shopping Centre and Redditch Borough Council, this year’s Christmas bonanza promises to be bigger and better than last year's attempt and get families in the Christmas spirit.

Katie Broome, from the Kingfisher Shopping Centre, said: “We are very excited to welcome Reggie ‘N’ Bollie to Kingfisher and Redditch this year. Christmas at Kingfisher Shopping Centre is always a fun time, but with their infectious personalities and memorable performances, this year promises to be bigger and better than ever.

“We’re very much looking forward to partnering with Redditch Town Centre Partnership for this year’s event, and it’s a pleasure to have Reggie ‘N’ Bollie on board – we expect lots of visitors will be excited to meet them in the centre.”

Emma Newfield from Redditch Town Centre Partnership, added: "We're delighted to be working in partnership with Kingfisher Shopping Centre once again to mark the start of Christmas in style."
