STAGE REVIEW: Jackie the Musical - at the Festival Theatre, Malvern, from Tuesday, June 21 to Saturday, June 25, 2016.
THIS was one heck of a huge nostalgic hen party!
Soon to be divorced 53-year-old Jackie, whilst clearing out her attic, unearths a box of her old Jackie magazines from the 1970s - sparking a nostalgic journey back to her youth when life was less complicated and more carefree.
Janet Dibley as Jackie was excellent and was well supported by a professional and dedicated cast who turned the evening into an energetic, fun-packed enjoyable experience in the Mama Mia mould.
Fully appreciated by a full house of predominantly females who adored joining in the singing to the many 70s tracks such as Crazy Horses, Tiger Feet, I love to Boogie and many more.
The dance routines, choreographed by the very experienced Arlene Phillips, were vibrant and energetic and this show fully deserved the full standing ovation at the end.
