A CHOCOLATE creation fit for a queen has been delicately constructed by Cadbury World’s masterful chocolatiers, in honour of Her Majesty’s 90th birthday today, April 21.

Complete with ornate gates and its own chocolate soldiers standing guard, the show-stopping palace is one of the chocolatiers’ most impressive creations yet.

Weighing almost 60kg and standing 70cm tall, the iconic building is finished with an edible gold and silver lustre and the intricate British royal coat of arms; piped entirely by hand.

Having taken two chocolatiers four days to construct, the popular Chocolate Making zone at Cadbury World will house the creation throughout The Queen’s celebrations.

The latest indulgent masterpiece follows on from previous regal creations including a chocolate cot equipped with toys made for Prince George’s birth in 2013 and a 12kg chocolate pram made last year marking the birth of Princess Charlotte.

Diane Mitchell, marketing manager at Cadbury World, said: “The Queen turning 90 is an incredible cause for celebration, so we’ve marked the occasion in the best way we know how – by recreating her home with chocolate!

“Our royal creations have historically been some of our most popular chocolatier projects, so we thought this was the perfect occasion to create a tribute to The Queen herself.”
