CELEBRATED folk musician and composer Luke Daniels will be wowing audiences at a Bromsgrove arts centre.

Luke, a regular and frequent member of The Cara Dillon Band, will present his signature style and elegant song-writing to audiences at the Artrix on Saturday, April 2 at 7.30pm.

Originally from a musical family in London, the former BBC Young Tradition Award winner's influences include English folk singers Nic Jones, Martin Carthy, Richard Thompson, Scottish singers Dick Gaughan and John Martin as well as Irishmen Paul Brady and Rory Gallagher.

The musician, who will be releasing a new album featuring a c1880 Polyphon machine in March, has performed to sold out audiences nationally and internationally as well as appearing on TV and radio.

He has starred on Mark Radcliffe’s BBC Folk Show, Radio 3’s In Tune, and The Grand Ole Opry in the United States.
