MOSELEY Folk Festival have announced that Jose Gonzalez will be coming to Birmingham on December 14.
Having released his new record Vestiges & Claws earlier this year, his first in seven years, this is bound to be an unmissable performance.
The last time Gonzalez performed with Moseley Folk was his headline performance at the 2008 festival.
A spokesman from the festival said: "This symbolised a real turning point for the festival, with one of the first festival sell outs, so we are delighted to welcome him back to Birmingham to perform with us again."
Vestiges & Claws is Jose's first album of exclusively original material, largely revolving around ideas of civilisation, humanism and solidarity.
The album comprises years worth of musical sketches that in other hands might naturally sprawl wildly in sound and style, but on Vestiges & Claws González has created a collection of songs that cohere just about perfectly, ensuring his position as one of the most important artists of his generation.
He will be at The Institute in Birmingham on December 14.
