RESIDENTS are being invited to a Macmillan Coffee Morning with a difference at The Duck Inn in Oakenshaw.
The event, which will see Mayor Pattie Hill attend, features various stalls by small businesses from Redditch selling handmade items, a belly dancing show by the group Eastern Promise, balloon modelling, face painting, games for the young and young at heart and refreshments such as tea and coffee.
There will also be a raffle, which includes prizes such as free admission to Hatton Country World, a Partyhouse party package worth £159, a £20 Dudley Coaches voucher, plus more.
Organiser Emma Louise Hill said: "Come rain or shine this should be a great family day out."
The event is on Sunday, September 27 from 10am until 3pm.
It is part of The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, Macmillan’s fundraising event for people facing cancer.
The charity asks people to host their own coffee mornings and donations on the day are made to Macmillan.
Last year the charity raised £25 million and this year it is aiming to raise even more.
