REVIEW: Snow White on Ice – at the Forum Theatre, Malvern, from Tuesday, April 14 until Sunday, April 19, 2015.
THIS was another spectacular offering from the Russian Ice Stars that more than matched the sparkle from the ice.
Considerably geared towards a younger audience there was plenty of action which took the breath away with a splendid mixture of ballet, gymnastics and acrobatics.
The skills of these skaters on the ice needed to be seen to be believed, and while larger than life television chef Rusty Lee might not fall into that category she provided plenty of laughs.
The children clearly enjoyed Snow White’s protectors – seven full-sized woodcutters far removed from the traditional visions of Doc, Sneezy and Co and there was an impressive display too from Anton Smimov as the scary Toppa the Crow.
Colourful and mesmerising, it was great fun for all the family.
