TO celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of hit album Breathe, Midge Ure will be coming to Redditch to perform the album in its entirety - for the very first time.

In 1995, Midge delivered his fourth solo album, Breathe, 10 years after the phenomenal successes of Band Aid and Live Aid.

Always one to ring the changes, this album had a very Celtic feel with a plethora of acoustic instruments from Uilleann pipes to mandolins and accordions alongside Midge’s trademark soaring electric guitar riffs.

The title track was picked up by Swatch watches and headed their most successful advertising campaign ever.

The album went triple platinum and was a massive success all over Europe.

After the successful reformation of Ultravox in 2009, Midge feels it's time to revisit his Celtic roots.

For the shows he will be accompanied by musicians from India Electric Co, recreating the nature of the album.

Fans can also expect to hear hits such as Vienna, Dancing with Tears in My Eyes, Fade to Grey and If I Was, as well as songs from his recently released album Fragile.

The show is on Wednesday, May 13 at 7.30pm.

Tickets are available in person or at the box office on 01527 65203 priced £18.75 (£17.75 disc) inclusive of booking fee 75p per ticket up to a maximum £3.
