RESIDENTS are being invited to the fabulous show The Producers, which is making its debut performance at the Redditch Palace Theatre next month.

Presented by Studley Operatic Society, The Producers is Mel Brooks’ award winning, modern, outrageous musical comedy which features fading producer Max Bialystock who convinces accountant Leo Bloom to partner him in producing “Springtime For Hitler” – a guaranteed flop, in an attempt to steal two million dollars and go to Rio.

Outrageous, hilarious, a teeny bit offensive, off the wall, and the winner of a record 12 Tony Awards are just a few things that The Producers is.

But it is never boring and you will find yourself holding your sides with laughter as Max and Leo sing and dance their way through the greatest show biz scam that there ever was.

A spokesman said: "The Producers is destined to delight The Palace Theatre audiences with its breathless combination of song, dance and laughter. This show is not to be missed and will have you rolling in the aisles and crying with laughter."

The show runs from April 21 to April 25.

Tickets cost from £13.25 from the box office on 01527 65203 or online at redditchpalacetheatre.co.uk.
