REDDITCH singer and songwriter Lucy May Walker is set to release her debut EP We Know The Score later this month.

The singer, who graduated from the University of Cumbria with a first class BA (Honours) degree in performing arts, will be holding an official launch on Saturday, March 14 at the Slaughtered Lamb, in Great Sutton Street, London.

The EP produced by Ben Stancombe includes four original songs written and recorded by Lucy. A music video of We Know The Score will be released on Youtube this week.

In January last year, the singer made it to the final of Open Mic UK. Her success caught the attention of music scout Adam Cornes who invited Lucy to play before Gary Barlow on the forum live stage at the LG Arena in front of 16,000 people.

In May 2014, following numerous plays of her first original song You’re Not Mine, Lucy was invited to a live recording session with Andrew Marston for BBC Introducing in Hereford & Worcester.

The 23-year-old moved to London at the end of last year with the ambition of carving herself a career in the music industry.

Doors will open at 7.30pm and entry is free but the event is only open to over 18s.

The EP can be downloaded on iTunes, Spotify and Amazon.
