IT could once again be a case of ‘more’ when the Malvern Theatres Young Company stage their annual production this summer.

The group has chosen Lionel Bart’s hugely popular musical, Oliver, for their big show at the Forum Theatre in August.

Now they are looking for talented and enthusiastic young performers, aged eight to 24 years, who would like to audition for the opportunity to be a part of this project. The show will be professionally directed, choreographed and accompanied by a professional live band.

Bart’s musical based on Dickens’ well known novel, will be directed by Andy Reiss, who returns to direct the company for the fourth consecutive year.

A talented performer and director with a wealth of experience, he has performed in shows such as Les Miserables, Chess and Evita. Last year’s production of Jesus Christ Superstar played to standing ovations at the end of every performance and this year’s show promises just as many thrills and outstanding musical performances. Auditions will be held on Saturday, February 28, at Malvern Theatres.

Anyone interested in taking part should visit www.malvern-theatres.co.uk/take-part/young-company to download an audition form with full terms and conditions, or email Rhiannon@malvern-theatres.co.uk. Completed forms must be returned by Wednesday, February 11.
