THE craft and vintage fair at the Kingfisher Shopping Centre is proving a massive hit with shoppers looking for some unique vintage or new items.

The monthly event, which takes place on the second Saturday of each month, began in 2014 and proved to be so popular that the centre’s management decided to continue holding the fair in 2015.

Ken Williams, general manager of Kingfisher Shopping Centre, said: “The craft fair has become a popular attraction at the centre and we are absolutely delighted that it will be continuing into the new year.

"The fair provides shoppers with something that little bit extra each month, whether it’s art, jewellery, clothing, or fossils and gems.”

Tony Shellam, owner of Fossil Craft, who has a stall at the fairs, added: "During our first year of trading at the Kingfisher Centre vintage and craft fair our sales have been good, and we have developed great relationships with many of our customers - some return monthly to see what 'The Fossil man' has new on the stall."

The next fair will be held on Saturday, February 14 in Milward Square.
